Day 1 | North America / Beijing ? (IM) Depart for the capital of China—Beijing, cross the International Date Line. |
Day 2 | Arrive Beijing (IM) Evening arrival in Beijing with check—in at the deluxe Landmark or Jintai Hotel. |
Day 3 | Beijing (B/L/SD) After a hearty American—style breakfast, leave Beijing by deluxe motor coach. Climbing the Great Wall, one of the world’s fantastic wonders. The tour continues to the renowned Sacred Way Leading to the famous Ming Tombs. And then visit the Underground Palace of the Ming Tombs. Evening back to Beijing City for a special Peking Duck Dinner Party. |
Day 4 | Beijing (B/L/D) This morning, explore the best of Beijing with a visit to Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest Square, and the incomparable Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the spectacular and vast summer Palace with optional boat rides Lake Kunming. Evening entertainment includes a memorable Acrobats’ performance. |
Day 5 | Beijing / Chengdu ? (B/L/D) Morning flight to Chengdu, an ancient city in the heart of China’s richest agricultural province, Sichuan. Check—in at the Chengdu Hotel and tour the Ancestral Hall of Zhu Geliang. |
Day 6 | Chengdu / Lhasa ? (B/L/D) Morning flight to Lhasa, the world’s highest city and capital of Tibet and known as "city of Sunshine." After check—in at the holiday Inn Hotel, spend the balance of the day relaxing and Acclimatizing to the altitude. |
Day 7 | Lhasa (B/L/D) Today, the sightseeing highlight is a visit to the Dalai Lama’s Potala, the Palace atop the sacred Putuo Hill. At dinner, enjoy serenades by Tibetan musicians while feasting on Nepali and Karakoram cuisine. |
Day 8 | Lhasa (B/L/D) All day tour includes visits to the extraordinary 1,300 –year –old Jokhang Temple with its Buddhist Masterpieces, the Drepung Monastery and more. |
Day 9 | Lhasa / Chengdu ? (B/L/D) Return by air to Chengdu. Lodging at the Chengdu hotel. Free afternoon to shop and walk around In the city center, taste the real Sichuan Snack in the Food Market. |
Day 10 | Chengdu (B/L/D) All day sightseeing includes visits to the Chengdu Zoo, one of the world’s best giant panda displays, The Du Fu Memorial, honoring one of China’s most revered poets, and the ancient Dujiangyan Dam. |
Day 11 | Chengdu / Guilin ? (B/L/D) Enjoy to explore and shop in Chengdu with its Beijing –type boulevards and opulent department Stores. In the afternoon, fly to Guilin. Lodging at the Guilin Plaza Hotel. |
Day 12 | Guilin (B/L/D) Travel by deluxe coach through lush countryside of bamboo, water chestnuts, sugar cane and rice fields. Arrive at a local village and embark on a memorable Lijiang River cruise passing through scenic Yangshuo. Visit the local free market and return to Guilin. |
Day 13 | Guilin / Shanghai ? (B/L/D) Morning tour includes Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, fly to Shanghai and check-in at the deluxe Holiday Inn Hotel. |
Day 14 | Shanghai (B/L/D) An all day tour introduces Shanghai, China’s bustling, a cosmopolitan metropolis. Visit the Bund, emporium lined Nanjing Road, the centuries-old Yu Yuan Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Madam Song Qingling’s Resident. |
Day 15 | Shanghai / Tokyo / Vancouver ? (B /IM) After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the Shanghai International Airport and ready to back home. |
